Hand-painted in Savona, Italy, circa 1800, these lidded vases have been painted cobalt blue on white.  Considered a near pair, the vases have distinct pastoral scenes opposite differing foliate rinceaux.  Both vases are marked with the lanterna di savona.

CONDITION: Good antique condition.  Minor nicks and rubs, with minute fleabites.  Light buildup.
