HOW TO BUY

While much of our inventory is shown online, we are not an E-Commerce site. We sell unique, high quality antiques and look forward to building a relationship with you. Please call or email us with any questions, and we will get back to you immediately. If you would like to make a purchase, we will send you an invoice via email. At that time, we will be happy to discuss shipping, payment, or answer any other questions. We have chosen to address some of the most commonly asked questions below.

Buyers will be responsible for any packing or shipping fees, but we will be happy to gather shipping quote(s) on your behalf. For small items, we tend to work with the UPS store located in the Dallas Design District. For larger items, we can contact blanket wrap shippers, or full crate and freight style packer/shippers. Inside white glove delivery is available upon request. Once a shipper is selected, we can coordinate pick up, and the shipper will then contact you for payment and delivery coordination. Of course, you are always free to use any shipper you want, and our shipping contacts are only recommendations. If you receive an item and it is damaged be sure to save all packing materials and take photos of the damages so that you can send them to the shipper. Rest assured we will always oversee the pickup of large items. Once the shipper picks up, Le Louvre French Antiques cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred, so choosing a shipper with insurance protection is always recommended.

Contact us at info@lelouvre-antiques.com or at 214-742-2605 and a representative will be happy to answer any questions.

We accept bank wire transfers and checks as primary payment methods.  Credit cards can be accepted, but may be subject to a processing/convenience fee. Payment must be received before we can release your items to your chosen shipper.  Please contact us for more information.

For any items shipping outside the state of Texas, you will not be required to pay sales tax.  However, a bill of lading from a certified shipper will be required.  If we are shipping within the state of Texas, or if you are picking up directly from us, we will have to collect sales tax as required by the state of Texas.

For those of you in Texas who hold a Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate, please contact us so that we can send you the proper form to fill out.  We will need the completed form before we can ship to you.

All sales are final unless otherwise stated.

We aim to provide complete product information, and high-quality photography for every piece in our store.  Our goal is to provide the most accurate information possible, and while we do not provide guarantees, we use our extensive experience, acquired knowledge, and research to describe every item to the best of our ability.  We cannot be held responsible for any errors we make in relation to dimensions, general product information, or condition.

We are making changes to our website on a daily basis.  While our online inventory is extensive, we always have items that are awaiting photography or are in transit from France.   As soon as payment is received, we mark the item sold or unavailable, and eventually remove it from the site.  Please contact us if you are looking for something and do not see it on our site.  It is possible we have something similar but have not yet uploaded it to the site.

We hand select everything in our store and go to Europe several times a year to source our pieces.  We are very selective about what we carry, but we are open to considering your item for consignment.  Please email us photos if you feel your piece is consistent with the quality and aesthetic of other items you see on our site.
