Hand-carved in France, circa 1850, this overmantel mirror has a musical trophy frame finished in green lacquer and gilding. In the style of Louis XVI.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Minor nicks and losses, with very light age separations. Light buildup to the frame, with slight presence of red bole, which is a desirable trait. The glass has been added more recently. Remnants of old rigging holes in the top, which are unseen with a proper installation.
