This small wall fountain from Provence, France has been hand-carved in three sections. A rectangular crown with several layers of molding tops the vertical back wall which is adorned with thick molding and protruding corners. It has an in-carved panel with canted corners, in a motif that is repeated on the front of the basin. An iron spout with a rosette backplate rises from the center of the back wall, aligned over two iron rods that slot into the top of the square basin. These bars would have been for holding small buckets, plants, or water vessels. The stone has a nice soft, cream color with some white accents. Our small wall fountain would be a beautiful addition to any area, inside or out.

CONDITION: Very good condition with intentional aging, chips, and distress marks. Stone is a natural material that can become darker or lighter when placed outside. Oxidation to iron pieces from exposure to the elements. Photos of current patina available on request.
