Creamware, which is earthenware with a lead glaze over a pale body that results in a pleasing cream color, are beautiful decorative accessories that can be paired with just about any color palette. This pair of Italian creamware bowls, which are from the mid-1900s, depict a realistic cluster of grapes, still attached to leaves. Each bowl has been sculpted as one piece, with the bunches of grapes overflowing the fluted rim beneath. A ring of beading encircles the neck of each circular bowl, which has a subtle molding to the foot. Our pair of creamware grape cluster bowls would make wonderful table centerpieces for a dining room or fine pottery for a kitchen or living room.
