This large pair of stone pedestals were hand-carved in the South of France in the early 1800s. Each pedestal has been carved from one piece of stone, with subtle protruding moldings along the top of the column and just beneath the capital. Perfect for displaying decorative garden elements or used architecturally in building plans.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Commensurate nicks and losses. Light rubs with accumulation of moss and lichen. Old installation channels in the tops of the capitals. Stone is a natural material that can change colors with exposure to the elements. Please contact us for photos of the current patina.
