Originally the head of a French oak wine barrel, dated 1959, this wine barrel frontage is a perfect wall-mounted accessory for a bar room or wine cellar. The beige facade has been painted brown with the appellation and stylized label of a wine vineyard from Côte de Beaune in France. Pommard Les Arvelets is a premier cru in the Burgundy region in the eastern section of the country. A coat of arms supported by two unicorns above branches and a banner can be seen at the top of the barrel front, above the lettering. Our French wine barrel frontage, which is secured by the original iron straps, is comprised of aged wood that still contains sediments of the wine contained inside, making it a charming addition to any home bar.
CONDITION: Strong condition with commensurate wear presenting as minor nicks, losses, and age separations to the wood. Very light rubs and oxidation to the iron straps. Originally the head of an old wine barrel from 1959.
