Depicting the French botanical garden, Les Jardin des Plantes de Rouen, this oil on canvas painting evokes a pleasing spring day of citizens in the park. Numerous visitors can be seen around a large fountain, some sitting on the ledge of the pool, while others gather beneath the verdant trees surrounded by park benches.
