This is an antique Italian carved marble head of a young man in a Greco/Roman helmet on a wooden base. The sculptor has adeptly portrayed his countenance as wide eyed innocence. The marble head rests on the wooden base by means of a small iron rod piercing the bottom center of the marble head. This allows the piece to easily be turned for best viewing.
Condition: Very good antique condition with minor wear
