A beautiful Italian door knocker from Tuscany, Italy, the wrought iron material would pair well with a door of any color. Hand-wrought circa 1700, the foliate backplate is fronted by an ovate handle with incised upper edges, resulting in a pair of angular points. A central protruding ring at the bottom of the handle offers an extended surface area, allowing the handle to be easily raised and lowered. Our wrought iron Tuscan door knocker would make a wonderful architectural attachment for an exterior door.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Commensurate rubs. Very light oxidation and fleabites. No strike plate. The knocker has been mounted to a wooden board (as seen in photos), which will not be needed for installation.
