From the 19th Century, this table from Tuscany has a top with arched corners and a wonderful shaped wooden stretcher. There are C and S scroll shapes throughout the design of the legs and a double shaped stretcher, one that is horizontal and two that arch upwards and meet at the top. There are double and triple scroll motifs on both. The sides have the classic open lyre shape, yet the double stretcher is carved entirely out of walnut, instead of the typical iron bars. This table has a beautiful, rich coloration, and it can be used in a variety of settings in the home.
CONDITION: Good condition with age separations, minor nicks and losses to wood. Recently refinished.
