Hand-carved in walnut wood in France, circa 1880, this tilt-top table is known as a wine tasting or vintner’s table. The table features a striated top of brown and honey colored wood with some unique grains. Ideal for when space is at a premium, the circular table is less than 19 inches deep when stored in the vertical position. When in use, the top tilts up to rest upon a support that rotates inwards when stored. The trestle base has arbalete shaped feet, providing great stability for the highly portable table. Our tilt-top wine tasting table can be used as a small breakfast table or an occasional table for a wine room or bar area. It’s a well-constructed table with a beautiful, warm color.
CONDITION: Good antique condition with some light stains to the top, commensurate with age and use. Minor age separations, nicks, and rubs. Slight traces of old wood worm.
