Cast in France during the 1700s, this pair of gilt bronze candlesticks feature highly contoured and curved bases are mirrored by the recessed lobes that embellish the shafts and capitals that are reminiscent of closed flower buds. Our 18th-century gilt bronze candlesticks can decorate any fireplace mantle or a small table. They could also be repurposed into an elegant pair of table lamps.
CONDITION: Very good condition with light buildup and wax residue to the sconce interiors, commensurate with age and use. Fleabites to some areas of the bronze.
