From Italy, this small limestone plaque depicts a hand-carved foliate rinceau dotted with two large flowers in bas relief. Presented horizontally, the tendrils of the plant meanders the entire length of the rectangular plaque. The gray limestone has developed a wonderful, mottled patina with elements of black, white, and gold. Our bas relief plaque would make a decorative architectural for a garden, patio, or even indoors.

CONDITION: Very good condition. Intentional distress marks. Presence of lichen accumulation, with additional patina, presenting as a mottling of black, white, and gold. Limestone is a natural material that can change color with exposure to the elements.
