This rare walnut wood and oak 18th Century refectory table from Spain has a top made from one single piece of wood. The overhang of the top allows for very comfortable seating at either end. The legs, more so than other tables of the same period, are incredibly carved with large movement and sharp angles combined with curved forms. They are connected to the plank top by scrolling forged iron stretchers. Full of character, this single plank refectory table from the 1700’s will be the highlight of any room.
CONDITION: Beautiful antique condition with old restorations, minor splits and losses all commensurate with age of 1700’s.
