Hand-carved in Spain in the early 1900s, this elm dining table has a robust three-inch thick top. The beautiful table is accentuated by a rich, deep brown patina and large, open lyre legs embellished with voluminous scrolled and fretted motifs. A notched and rounded noix adorns the thick arbalete-shaped stretcher that is pinned through the legs by small wedges. Able to comfortably sit six to eight adults (depending on chair width), this Spanish elm dining table can also be used as an elegant sofa table in a living room.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with minor rubs and losses. Very light age separations. Small shim added between leg and table top to fill previous gap.
