This antique bronze wine barrel spout from France dates to the 1800s. Most likely used in a traditional foudre barrel, the spout played an integral role in the winemaking process, managing the flow of wine with precision and care. The corner joint is topped by a straight cylindrical handle, while the neck is adorned with thin rounded molding mirrored by a subtle ring on the horizontal pipe. Today, the spout can function as a unique fountain water element or sink fixture.
