Consisting of 17 hand-carved pieces of limestone, this robust wall fountain from the South of France has a chapeau de gendarme crown above two raised fleur de lys carvings. The fleur de lys function as apertures for a pair of scrolled iron spouts positioned above the rectangular basin. Six stones make up the wide basin, with the front and side stones possessing a deep undercut that softens the rectilinear basin. Eleven stones comprise the back wall, including three stones with thick molding that form the gently sloping arched top. The fleur de lys carvings are set within a recessed molding with canted corners at the bottom, further enhancing the sinuous crown. All of the limestone sections have a wonderful cream hue with areas of white, gray, and gold patination. A perfect addition to an outdoor garden or interior courtyard, our double fleur de lys wall fountain will instantly enhance any setting.
