This is a 19th century French reconstituted stone lion statue lying down on a rectangular base. The sculptor who did the original of this statue has portrayed the lion in a reclining position on his right side. His right paw is curled inward and his tail is wrapped lazily around his left hind quarter. This wonderful lion statue on a rectangular base is left untouched with old patina and remnants of moss. It can be used indoors or out.
CONDITION: Old restorations, minor rubs and cracks, and minor losses consistent with age
