Most likely a hotte for grape harvesting, based on the Bacchanalian repousse motifs, this brass basket would make a wonderful umbrella holder. From France, circa 1900.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Minor buildup, light indentations, and fleabites. Loss of paint to the interior.
