A massive farm trough, once used at a house in Normandy, France, this hand-carved piece of granite would make a wonderful farmhouse sink. Dating to the 1800s, the gray stone has developed patination that gives accents of black, green, and light gray. A small drainage hole on the side allows the trough to be utilized as an outdoor planter, although the hole could be plugged so that the trough can function as a basin for a fountain as well. Our granite trough from Normandy has numerous applications and would add a rustic French country vibe to wherever it is utilized.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Inherent undulations and losses to the granite. Light accumulation of moss and lichen. Drainage hole on side.
