Originating from England, this lead wall fountain is adorned with a ram’s head above a lobed basin. The bottom of the basin consists of thick lobes emerging from a leaf cup noix, with a rolled rim embellished with egg and dart. The ram is accompanied by crinkled ribbons tied to its horn, with a long berry sprig that runs from the mouth to the basin below.
CONDITION: Good condition. Commensurate buildup to basin. Light scratches to exterior. The lead has developed a wonderful light green verdigris over a grayish patination.
