This tall and elegant wrought iron wall sconce is reminiscent of a torch that might have been hung on a castle wall centuries ago. The long and thick twisted shaft has a leaf cup and pricket with a roundel noix at the bottom and is topped by a roughly circular bobeche adorned with C-scrolls along the edge, enhancing the silhouette of the sconce. The flat cup houses a cylindrical capital and a long white faux candle sleeve. A shaped backplate allows the sconce to be affixed to an exterior wall or indoors next to the entry to a library, game room, or wine cellar.
CONDITION: Very good condition with minor rubs and light oxidation. Wired for use in American houses.
