Hand-blown in France during the 1900s, this beautiful crystal champagne bucket has exquisite detailing of a pair of escutcheons, each aligned above a tripartite leaf. A pair of two small volute handles are situated high up on the hexagonal body, just below the rolled rim with a thin cavetto undercut. The heraldic displays are recessed and subtly embellished with a lozenge pattern near the top of the triangular shields. Beneath the shields, the main body protrudes slightly while maintaining the geometric form. The foot is also hexagonal, with several layers of molding, and a large stellate flower at the bottom of the interior. Our French crystal champagne bucket is the perfect accessory for any wine room or bar area.
CONDITION: Very good condition. Light buildup. Slight presence of air bubbles, indicating the bucket was hand-blown.
