An amazing French hunt buffet deux corps bibliotheque, hand-carved from oak in the 1800s. Glass doors to the upper body, with two drawers and two drawers to the lower section. Carvings include dogs, putti, deer, bears, fish, mythical creatures and more.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Light buildup to glass. Minor nicks, losses, and age separations to wood, which has been stripped more recently (with slight traces of the original finish). Old restoration to the crown, with recent work to the upper section. Two functional locks, each with own key.
