Dating to circa 1900, this unique French table has an oval bluestone supported by a robust cast iron base. The base is comprised of an elaborate foliate margent intertwined with scrolls, beading, and rinceaux. Traces of the original gray finish can still be seen, but the base has developed a wonderful dark brown oxidized patina. The 1 ½ inch thick bluestone top is accentuated by rounded edges and a stone gray palette. Our oval bluestone and cast iron table could be utilized as a side table for a veranda or poolside venue, or indoors as a small console.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition with light scratches and darkened areas to the bluestone. Oxidation to the iron has given the base a dark brown patina.  Please see photos.
