Dating to the 1940s, this French aviation work bench was hand-carved in elm wood. The robust top (3 3/4 inches thick) is supported by three truss legs, providing a stable surface that can be used as a work table, bench seating, or console.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Commensurate wear from being used as an industrial work bench, such as nicks, drilled holes, buildup, and traces of paint. Minor age separations. The wood has some inherent undulations that add to the character of the bench.
