Hand-carved in Provence, France, this circular center fountain consists of 11 pieces of limestone. The light gray colored stones have a unique patina of white, dark gray, and brown, mainly from exposure to climbing vines and a light accumulation of moss and lichen (see detailed photos).

18-inch tall stones give added volume to the circular basin, with the water cascading from two scrolled iron spouts near the top of the cylindrical center column. The base of the column is octagonal, with a thick cavetto undercut, mirroring the bulging entablature at the top of the column. Our limestone center fountain would make a wonderful addition to any landscape design and could be the focal point of a courtyard or patio.

As seen in some detailed photos, two entablatures fit the center column. The one seen inside the basin has significantly more depth to it.

CONDITION: Good condition. Intentional distress, presenting as nicks and losses. Light oxidation to the iron spouts. Limestone can change color with exposure to the elements. Please contact us for photos of the current patina.
