Hand-forged in Florence, Italy, circa 1680, these iron door knockers would instantly enhance any exterior door. The knockers are ovate, with a high arching curve at the bottom, where the iron forms a leafy plant with a coned finial. A pair of tall leaf cups flank each attaching pin, adding subtle décor to the almost 350-year-old door knockers.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition with fleabites and minor rubs. The attaching pins are not of equal length, as some of the iron was lost during the excavation from a previous installation.
