This highly decorative wall mirror is of Italian origin and features a parcel-painted white finish with lightly gilded accents. The beveled glass is encircled by a molding of slender fluting that is slightly interrupted at the top by a bicephalous (double-headed) eagle cartouche and at the bottom by a monogrammed console. Other motifs found on the elaborate frame include leaves, scrolled corners, and fruits, all of which have gilded areas paired with the antique white paint. Our Italian white parcel composition mirror can be hung on the wall of just about any room of a house, from a hallway or grand foyer to a living room or bedroom.
CONDITION: Strong condition with minor loss of paint and gilding. The beveled glass has light buildup. Mirror frame is a resin composite backed by wood. Not currently rigged, but can be performed upon request.
