Recently found in a home in Brittany, France, this high quality wrought iron chandelier was hand-formed with fleur de lys motifs. The main body is a thick, open oval, formed by three bands of iron. Six large fleur de lys are affixed to the outer edge, with the tail of each flower curling upwards, forming a base for a saucer bobeche with white faux candle sleeves. In between each fleur de lys is a chain that affixes to a set of scrolls with hooks, providing stability to the chandelier. The chains are comprised of two long links, with the lower link having an additional fleur de lys embellishment. Our oval fleur de lys chandelier would make a fantastic addition for a large area such as an entry hall, portico, or library. Please note, we currently have an identical chandelier with slightly different dimensions.
CONDITION: Very good condition with minor rubs. Recently professionally wired for use in American homes.
