This beautiful parcel painted plaster and wood panel from Provence, France was made in the Louis XVI style. It features a bas-relief rendering of a pair of foliate rinceaux emanating from a vase overflowing with a bouquet. The plaster is encompassed by a 1 ½ inch thick wooden frame, with both materials having a lovely creamy white and tan finish. Panels such as these were often used as overdoors, but they also make a fantastic decorative wall art for just about any room of the house.
CONDITION: Good condition with intentional distress and aged finish as seen in photos. Not rigged for hanging.
