This fantastic workbench from Italy dates to the mid 1700s. It has been hand made from pine and oak, and was whitewashed at some point in time. The over 7-foot long top has a vice on one side and a long open tray along the other side. There is a small storage door that opens on the end with the vice, while the front edge of the workbench has the dog holes. Beneath this, is a set of 3 drawers with simple iron pulls, and a small storage area just above the top drawer. All this rests on thick platform feet.
This wonderful Italian carpenter’s workbench from the 18th century can be used as a sofa table or console table in any room.
