This elegant, small wall fountain from Provence has been hand carved in Estaillade limestone. The arched top has canted shoulders and is flanked by a pair of scroll-shaped corbels. The back wall appears to be raised due to an indentation which mirrors the shape of the edges of the fountain. A decorative iron backplate in the shape of a diamond holds in the iron S-scroll spout. There is a half octagonal basin frontage with round canted corners and a large rounded molding.
The stone has been given a warm and subtle patina and will fit in with any type of garden. Stone is natural material that can become darker or lighter from the elements.
CONDITION: Very good condition with added patina and intentional aging with slight nicks, etc. The three stones that comprise the upper back of the fountain have been professionally repaired with iron bars, but they are in strong condition.
