Versatile in its design and function, this silverleaf Louis Philippe mirror can be used in a modern or antique setting. The raised center section of this Louis Philippe frame has linear ornamentation of gadrooned X’s. The adjacent moldings are indented and plain. The glass mirror has feint outlines of the desirable losses to silvering. The outside of the frame has yellow bole which is also used beneath the silverleaf.
