Description

This small gilt bronze door knocker was crafted in France in the 1800’s.

The door knocker depicts a left hand with slender fingers surrounding a small ball striker. The ring finger is adorned with an oval ring while the wrist is covered by an ornate sleeve underneath a bracelet. A ¾ of an inch screw extends from the top of the wrist and would be used to attach the knocker to a door.

Although relatively small at 5 ½ inches long, this bright gilt bronze French knocker will add a touch of refinement to any exterior or interior door.
