Made from reconstituted stone, this ball finial garden post at nearly 26 inches tall, was cast from a single mold in France in the 1900’s. A 12-inch spherical finial sits on top of a bulbous column. The column has a circular base which sits atop a slightly larger circular plinth. At one point, the entire finial was painted lime green, but exposure to the elements has caused some paint to erode, mimicking a parcel paint pattern. Our cast stone ball finial garden post can be placed in a garden setting or a stand alone interior decorative element.
CONDITION: Wear commensurate to age and use, with minor nicks and paint losses, resulting in exposed rock fragments. Light rubs, especially to the base. Stone can change colors with exposure to the elements, as the finial has developed a patina with traces of moss in some areas.
