Versatile and attractive, this pair of weathered white cement lions was cast in England, circa 1960. Both lions are depicted in a seated position, with a circular base beneath their paws. A thick rectangular plinth offers stability and support, allowing the lions to be placed on their own. Sections of both lions are nicely distressed, which has allowed a wonderful patina and moss buildup to develop. They can be placed outside in a garden setting or atop a pair of pedestals. They can also be used indoors as decorative accessories or repurposed into interesting and unique lamps for an office or game room.
CONDITION: Good condition with minor nicks and rubs. Light buildup with traces of moss. Acceptable losses to coloring, resulting in a beautiful, weathered patina.
