This tall pair of French garden urns measure 83 ½” tall (the pedestals are 28 7/8”, making the urns themselves 54 5/8”). They are very detailed renditions of antique originals that were carved from marble or stone. Since these are cast with a mixture of crushed stones and cement, they will not absorb water like stone will. This means they will do well in a variety of climates.
The urns are “lidded” and very decorative as is. However, the lids can be removed for planting flowers or small trees. Each urn is decorated with large ram’s heads, garlands of fruits and flowers and ribbons. The color is a mix of warm creams and dark grays.
CONDITION: Strong condition with light buildup in some areas. Fleabites, minor cavitations, and uneven sections, all byproducts of the casting process.
