This pair of large, hand forged iron Fleur de Lys chateau style sconces from France date to around 1950. The 4-leaf back plates have two attachment holes and a hollowed out center portion through which wiring goes. There are banded, curved arms which have more C-Scroll motifs emanating from the length of the arms. The large shaped cups for the lights have more intricate banding ending at the top with 8 bands of curved Fleur de Lys motifs. The construction is all hand wrought, cut, and riveted iron. These Fleur de Lys chateau sconces will be wonderful accessories at the front door, hallway or any area needing large and unique torch style sconces.
CONDITION: Very good condition with some minor rusting and surface buildup.
