This pair of large cast iron English vases have been painted white and are from the early 1900’s. The diameter of the vase openings are 18 inches, allowing for a large floral or greenery display. Maximum width is just over 3 feet.
The handles of the urns are curled acanthus leaves with volute terminals. The bodies are adorned with large and well-spaced gadroon lobes. Concave fluted columns flow seamlessly into bases festooned with egg and dart motifs that sit on square plinths. The rim of each vase also has egg and dart embellishments.

CONDITION: Wear commensurate to age and use with minor chips to paint. Light buildup and oxidation, especially to the bottom of the bases.
