This gorgeous set of arched doors were recently salvaged from a flower shop in Florence, Italy, and they date to around 1950. They are complete with iron hinges and their original surround, for an overall height of about 103 inches (8.5 feet). The door panels are carved with a unique and intricate pierced foliate design of rinceaux, allowing light to pass from one side to another. They would make spectacular interior doors, transitioning from one room to another. The light coloration of the wood allows for use in a variety of interiors.
CONDITION: Good condition commensurate with age use, including some wood worm, nicks, and rubs (see photos). Small loss to bottom left side of surround where it was previously installed. No door handle
