This rare antique Italian, parcel paint, drop leaf table dates to sometime in the 1600’s. It has two large drop leaves, two drawers with locks, two pulls and one key that opens both. The legs are baluster in shape and the four stretchers are peripheral. The four corners of the upper rectangular portion have raised beveled motifs. The leaves are held in place by large iron arms that swing outward. The style, shape, size and age make this table quite unique.
CONDITION: Distressed finish, minor losses, and some age separations.
