This magnificent dining room table was made in France, using oak. The top is made of two large parquet sections, separated by straight beam sections. A thick border of uneven boards encompasses the entire table top. At each corner of the border are beautifully carved and stained Fleur-de-Lys motifs. The large stretcher is also a single beam of French Oak with an uneven surface. The legs are baluster shaped, and the volute feet are in the French Renaissance style. When a quality French wax is applied, the oak will obtain a very nice patina. This table has been constructed within the last few years partially using antique timbers.
CONDITION: Very good condition. Some age separations, chips and rubs to wood.
