Hand-carved in France from 13 pieces of Estaillade limestone, this rectangular center fountain with two scrolled iron spouts would make a wonderful addition to a courtyard or outdoor landscape. The rectilinear basin is softened by the subtly carved center column, which includes chamfered edges, a cavetto entablature, and two carved sets of raised circles that function as origination points of the two spouts. Each spout is positioned above a set of iron bars that extend from the center column to the basin wall. These bars would have been used by villagers during earlier centuries to gather water for use in homes; the bars would support containers as the villagers capture water cascading from the spouts. Today, these bars can be used hold planters, pots, or decorative buckets. Perfect for narrow areas, our wonderful limestone fountain will complement any design style.
