Full of foliate and scrolled motifs, this pierced wrought iron door knocker is from Tuscany, Italy, dating to about 1700.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Commensurate rubs. Very light oxidation and fleabites. No strike plate. The knocker has been mounted to a wooden board (as seen in photos), which will not be needed for installation.
