This quaint fountain element or spout was produced in France in the 1900’s. The patinated cast iron lion’s face (known as a mascaron) is depicted with an open mouth. The lion would typically be hung above a basin or sink, with water cascading from the 1 3/8” diameter opening. Our French cast iron lion fountain element could be incorporated into an outdoor fountain or pond. It could also be used indoors as a bathroom sink spout or a decorative wall element.
CONDITION: Very good condition with minimal wear. A bracket has been installed on the back for hanging purposes. Please see photos for details.
