More information coming soon…

Originally a garde corp (balcony railing) from the South of France, this hand wrought iron grille has been professionally reworked to form a beautiful console base.  The shapely grille has a painted green finish that allows the pervasive motifs to stand out.

CONDITION: Good antique condition.  Minor paint losses leading to some areas with oxidation.  Very light losses to motifs.  This was originally a garde corp, which is a balcony railing.  We had a professional metal worker remove the attachment arms and stabilize the body, allowing it to be used as a console (top not included).
