This antique French workbench has been reconfigured into a wine carrier with two rows of bottle holders beneath the thick wood top. There are a total of 8 holders for wine or champagne bottles.
The frontage of the top row reads, PETRUS in block lettering. Petrus is a wine producing estate located in western France. The estate, which produces only Merlot wines, is regarded as the best winemaker in the Pomerol region. Petrus consistently produces one of the world’s most expensive wine labels, with an average price of over $2,600 a bottle.
Practical and versatile, this charming French wine carrier can be used in wine rooms, country kitchens, or dining rooms. We have given it a light French wax, which gives the oak wood just the right amount of warmth and sheen.
CONDITION: Good antique condition with rubs, bumps, and nicks to wood as seen in photos. Wear consistent with age and use.
