This antique Chestnut Wood, drop leaf table is from Italy, Ca. 1790. It has two drop leaves on either side of the center plank. The plank has an apron with deep drawers on either end, and the apron has shaped wooden holders to support the leaves. The legs are shaped with a wooden stretcher connecting just above the feet. The rich color and patina of the wood is absolutely wonderful. Versatile because of its ability to fold down, this charming Italian drop leaf table will be suitable in a number of places.
CONDITION: Good antique condition with some finish variation in areas, minor losses, scratches, nicks.
